Now in its 6th year, the Oklahoma Supercomputing Symposium is the only annual event of its kind in the Great Plains region.

Attendance in 2006 was over 300, from 38 academic institutions in 14 states, 43 commercial firms (including 14 sponsors), 16 government agencies and 5 non-governmental organizations.

The 2007 Symposium will include not only all of the usual features, but also a workshop on Parallel & Cluster Computing, to be held Tuesday October 2 during the day.
